'As a 25-year-old engineer, I discovered that technology is great, but people are even more intriguing. What motivates people to exhibit certain behaviors? Why do processes often not work as thought out in the office? How do you get people and process working together in good harmony? That is the puzzle I have been working on for 25 years. Here I can bring a lot of value for people and companies. Happiness at work combined with good results!
Background
'After working as an engineer for 5 years, I was hit by the continuous improvement virus. In the 2 decades that followed, I fulfilled various improvement roles at multinationals. Whether I improved with a self-designed program or based on various models, what I always learned is that it's all about the people. How can I give people direction? Help them with their problems? Make them see things and strive together for a better standard? With my self-made view of the world, I often think out-of-the-box to help people and companies get things done easier. Now, with great enthusiasm, I use my view of business operations and take full advantage of the opportunities I see. By dealing directly, openly and honestly with each other, you get the furthest together.'
